Truly great friends are hard to find, difficult to leave, and impossible to forget.
When I think of Caroline- I think of momma bear- may be because she was the only person I knew with a child, and she was a bit older than us, and has immense wisdom. I have been friends with Caroline for a long time now, and I can say, I consider her one of the best. She is thoughtful, kind and always willing to lend me an ear- although it is usually to hear my bitching about boys, friends, and eagles sports. I met her through a group of friends, who have since the first time I met her, has kind of dissipated. I gave her the name GPS, because she was always able to get us anywhere when we were lost. In a way though, I consider her, kind of a life - GPS. I remember her talking to my mom one day, and just the nice things that she said about me, have always stuck. I don’t know one person that would ever utter a negative word about GPS, because I would kick them.
I came across this quote, not to long ago- A friend is someone who understands your past, believes in your future, and accepts you just the way you are.”Caroline has always accepted me for me. She has always realized my antics although can sometimes be nutty, are just me, and are never to be malicious or hurt anyone. She has always been able to tell me when I am wrong, or I need to work on something- and I know it to be true, when people spoke negatively of me, she was one of the people to stick up for me.
GPS- I hope today brings you lots of joy. Happy Birthday lady!!! GPS- you are a great friend, and although I moved to Texas, you are thought of often.
